Flora and Leo, an Australian couple, chose the stunning backdrop of the Italian Riviera for their intimate and exclusive elopement with just nine guests. This destination elopement in Italy was the perfect blend of authenticity and understated glamour, unfolding between two of Liguria’s most iconic spots—Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino.
Their ceremony took place at the elegant Imperiale Hotel Palace in Santa Margherita, followed by a romantic couple’s photo session at the historic and atmospheric Villa Durazzo. Guests were then treated to a private aperitivo at U Caban in Portofino, with breathtaking views over the harbor, before ending the day with a refined, intimate dinner at Dav Mare—set right on the water with the beauty of Portofino as the backdrop.
Every detail of the styling was thoughtfully curated, with a glamorous color palette that perfectly reflected the couple’s sophisticated and elegant taste. This Ligurian elopement was a beautiful balance of tradition, nature, and quiet luxury—an unforgettable wedding experience by the sea.
