Diana and Henry, a Mexican-American couple, chose the rolling hills of Piedmont’s Langhe region for their destination wedding in Italy—celebrating an unforgettable weekend at Relais San Maurizio, a historic estate nestled in the heart of the countryside. Surrounded by nearly 100 guests from around the world—especially from New York and Mexico—they enjoyed three days of celebration steeped in the region’s natural beauty and charm.

The weekend kicked off with a lively and relaxed welcome dinner: a pizza night in the Relais garden, complete with a food truck, artisanal gelato cart, and heartfelt toasts that set a warm, joyful tone for the days ahead. The following day, the wedding ceremony was emotional and intimate, followed by a high-energy reception filled with laughter, music, and spontaneous moments. The decor featured bold, vibrant tones—burgundy, violet, and green—reflecting both the local landscape and the couple’s spirited personalities.

Dinner was curated by the Michelin-starred restaurant Da Guido, offering traditional Piedmontese dishes paired with exceptional local wines. The evening continued with live music, an epic dance party, and a spectacular fireworks show.

To wrap up their Langhe celebration, Diana and Henry hosted a laid-back brunch and pool party—an Italian-style farewell full of sunshine, good food, and shared joy.
